-Important Keys
Left arrow - Previous slide
Right arrow - Next slide
-File Menu
To begin using PresentArms, select Import Images from the File menu or drag a folder and/or files onto its icon. You can select single or multiple files or directories. PresentArms will automatically go through each file and directory, scanning for valid image files and loading them into the main window. Note that if you give PresentArms a directory, it will scan not only that directory, but every subdirectory contained within. Images will then appear in the main window.
The File Menu also contains the preferences for PresentArms. Here you can define how long between slides, and the background color to use during a fullscreen slideshow.
Lastly, here you can save PresentArms slideshows, as well as print. Printing prints out the current image. Note: When you save a PresentArms document, it must do the work of exporting the images imported into it and compressing them. If you have a large document, this may take a few seconds. Personally, I've found that about 200 images totaling 60 MB only takes about five seconds. Once the name you saved it with appears in the titlebar, saving is complete.
-Slideshow Menu
Start Slideshow(Command-B) starts a slideshow with the user-determined interval between slides. Pressing the Space bar also will start and stop slideshows.
Stop Slideshow(Command-E) halts a slideshow. Pressing the Space bar also will start and stop slideshows.
Toggle Fullscreen Mode (Command-F) shows the slides in fullscreen mode with the background color you have chosen. The menus and cursor will disappear and be unavailable during a fullscreen slideshow. Exit Fullscreen Mode by hitting Command-F again or pressing Escape.
Loop Slideshow(Command-L) - if this is checked, once you reach the last slide during a slideshow or during navigation, it will loop back to the first slide.
Randomize Slides(Command-R) - if this is checked, slides will be shuffled into random order. Unchecking this restores them to their normal order.
Slideshow Info brings up a panel which tells you how many images are in your document and the projected length of the slideshow based on the current timer length. It also tells you the length of your playlist.
Remove All Images clears the current PresentArms document.
Remove Current Image (Command-Delete) clears the currently displayed image.
Create Playlist (Command-Y) brings up the playlist window. From here, you can add songs and delete them, and drag them to re-arrange their order. The return key enacts Add Song, and delete key Remove Song.
